Intensive Family Support Service

Intensive Family Support Service (IFFS) aims to prevent child removal, reduce risks of harm, and maintain family unity by providing in-home, tailored interventions. These services strengthen parenting skills, address crises like domestic violence, and connect families to community support to enhance children's safety and wellbeing.

 Closing the Gap Targets 

• Target 11 - Young people are not overrepresented in the criminal justice system.
• Target 12 - Children are not overrepresented in the child protection system.
• Target 13 - Families and households are safe.
• Target 14 - People enjoy high levels of social and emotional wellbeing.
• Target 17 - People have access to information and services enabling participation in informed decision-making regarding their own lives.
